SEPOLIA TESTNET · SIMULATED USD

A PUBLIC TESTNET EXPERIMENT

A small cabin.
A shared ledger.

Turn a fictional office cabin’s rental income into 1,000 tokens. Use your own wallet to deploy, buy, record rent, and claim your share on Sepolia.

Real wallet, public testnet, fake assets. CAB and USD have no monetary value or real property rights. Wallet transactions use Sepolia test ETH for gas. Never send real funds to this demo.

YOUR CONNECTION

Bring your wallet.

Connect a browser wallet to start or open a saved pilot.

First time? Set up a test wallet
  1. Install MetaMask from its official site in Chrome, Edge or Firefox. Create a fresh wallet and keep its recovery phrase private.
  2. Add two Ethereum accounts and name them Cabin Operator and Cabin Investor. Each account will need some Sepolia test ETH for transaction fees.
  3. In MetaMask, open Networks, enable Show test networks, and select Sepolia. The chain ID is 11155111.
  4. Copy each account’s public address and request test ETH from the Google Cloud Sepolia faucet. Google sign-in is required; faucet limits and availability vary.
  5. Return to this page in that same browser. Select Cabin Operator, connect the wallet, and deploy the two demo contracts. Get USD here after deployment.

Your cabin, on-chain.

WALLET SIGNATURES REQUIRED

Deploy a new cabin

Create the demo USD, then the cabin contract. Your wallet becomes the operator and receives all 1,000 CAB. Each deployment asks for a separate wallet confirmation.

Two transactions · paid with Sepolia test ETH

OR

Open an existing pilot

Paste a cabin contract address shared by another participant. Both contracts are checked against this app’s compiled code before use.

THE IDEA BEHIND THE TOKENS

The rights come first.
The token keeps the record.

A real cabin would need verified leasing rights and an enforceable agreement defining who receives income, which costs are deducted, and who is responsible. This pilot demonstrates the record and distribution mechanics.

  1. 01

    Deploy with the operator wallet

Get USD. Share the CAB contract address with a second wallet.

  2. 02

    Switch to the investor wallet

Open the same pilot, get USD, join, and buy 100 CAB.

  3. 03

    Record rent as the operator

Record $30,000 gross less $5,000 costs: $25,000 net.

  4. 04

    Claim as the investor

The 100 CAB investor can claim $2,500 in USD.

What is public, and what is saved?

Your wallet signs directly on Sepolia. Wallet addresses, contract interactions, and balances are public on that network. This browser stores only the pilot’s public contract addresses and deployment block, so you can reopen it. No private key or seed phrase is requested or stored.

Confirmed contracts remain on the public testnet when you close the page or restart the local app. This page periodically refreshes reads; signing always requires an explicit action.

Approvals, network changes, and interruptions

A purchase or rental deposit may need two confirmations: an approval for the exact USD amount, then the action. If you cancel the second step, the approval can remain on-chain. There is no automatic retry.

The app checks Sepolia, the current wallet, and both contracts’ compiled code before a write. Switching accounts or networks stops the current interface flow. A transaction you already broadcast may still confirm; reopen the pilot and refresh to see its result.

What would a real cabin project still need?

Verified property and leasing rights, an enforceable structure for income rights, a responsible issuer, reliable rental records, secure custody, and legal and regulatory review for the location and offering. CAB in this experiment establishes none of those rights.

The operator enters rent and expenses; the contract cannot verify a tenant payment. A token does not guarantee income, liquidity, property ownership, or a buyer. This pilot uses fake assets and is not an investment.
